Amazing spa, ok hotel

The spa is amazing. It is really nice to be able to go straight from your room. Also appreciate the way you can continue to use the spa after checking out. And the view from the room is really nice. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting us.

For a four-star hotel, the room was kind of simple. The bedding was not that comfortable, especially the pillows. It was nice that there was a breakfast, but it was very simple. Also, the food in the restaurant was very basic and a bit bland.

All the saunas and the pools were good enough but the outside pools were amazing because of the view and you can only use your phone in your room.it was excellent.

Wonderful

Great Spa, all clean, nice eating facilities, all professionally managed. Good reception and nice to find an Honesty Bar. Super relaxed breakfast with fresh pastries and local touches.

Good but not amazing

A lot of saunas and good breakfast

There were issues during checkin, the wellness got too busy to the point you couldn’t enter some saunas and jacuzzis, the food at the restaurant is expensive. The room was okay, but nothing amazing, I didn’t think it was worth the price.

It was a bit of a shock when we were told that no clothes are allowed on Thursdays… Should have read the small print!

Very Good

The options to dine are very restricted. Despite the various dedicated spaces throughout the property, only two were available, and unfortunately not the best two options - lounge bar setting is fantastic but the food options is very limited. There are not options to get a drink or a snack in the sauna area which is a real pity.

There are more than 10 different styles of Sauna you can enjoy. There also some activities you can attend. Foods were delicious. Close to the city center. Customer service was nice and friendly.

Enjoyable thermae.

The Thermae itself with activities and facilities was very enjoyable. Food was nice and the different saunas also. Breakfast was wonderful and tasty.

Service at the lounge I found not using proper ways of communicating with guests sitting close to our table. They forgot our order and we had to go search for someone to take our order after 40min of waiting. Room was neat but not a 4 star hotel. Receptionists were friendly but only because they were doing their job. Sometimes receiving a guest isn't only to make the friendly question but to be interested and enjoy what you do.

Awesome

The view was fantastic, the personnel was friendly.

long queues at the reception. We were staying in suite and we missed small details - simple soap in the room and the small thing to help to get the shoes on (not sure how to call it in English). Breakfast was good, but could be more specific with limburg treats, scrambled eggs were not tasty.

Excellent spa hotel for a short stay

The place is overall a paradise: beautiful nature, amazing spa facilities, great breakfast. I come back here over and over again.

I didn't like the fact that a year ago the price of the robes and slippers was included in the room price. This time they decided NOT to include robes + slippers for those who book via Booking.com. In order to get the robes and slippers you MUST book on their own website. And it wasn't explicitly stated in the room/facility description. I had to pay extra 55.00 for the robes and slippers.. Which was a bit disappointing.

Very relaxing

Facility was great. It was clean, well maintained. Staff were friendly. The food was great, price was fair.

I booked my stay with booking.com. It was not well specified that towels, robe and slippers were included. This items are included if booked with the hotel directly. Had I known this, I would have booked directly with the hotel.

Nice place, nature, huge hotel. A lot of different saunas, i was impressed. Good breakfast. Wanna back for sure.

It was mess in the restoran during the dinner. It was not crowded, but we wait for long time., In fact after check out we realized that it was + 2 extra dishes that we didn't ordered. It was strange

a nice experience but a bit overpriced

The hotel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by forest. Bathing in the outside pool is a great experience! the room was big and was facing the forest, with a great matress. They were really trying to make people respect the corona safety measurements.

For the price I was expecting something a bit more luxurious, but the hotel feels like it needs a redecoration. It is very clean but I cannot really say it really deserves the 4 stars. The swimming pools are big and clean but the overall design sends back in time 20 years. If you book via booking.com you will have to pay 15eur for renting a bathrobe, towel and slippers for the wellness area. The breakfast buffet was good, if not extraordinary.

Relaxing experience

Spa and sauna are really nice. Very relaxing experience. There are almost no people early in the morning and late in the evening. The bed is very comfortable. Hotel is a walking distance (it’s on top of the mountain though) from Valkenburg with lots of cafes and restaurants

Hotel rooms are outdated. It doesn’t feel like you are in a modern spa hotel. There are terraces in front of each room. It was covered with dry grass - looks very sad. Parking costs 15€/day. It should be included in the price. Daily rate by the Casino is 8€ (7 mins walk). There is no air conditioning. They put standalone, but they create too much noise. The breakfast is good but boring. For the price one would expect something fancier: more cheese/charcuterie options, fresh fruit (not a salad), different bread

Awesome

The room was very cool and modern. Stayed in the jacuzzi suite at the top of the pyramid. It had a great view. Our massages were good.

My only complaint is they allow smoking in a wellness spa??! Kind of humorous, I know. Connect the dots here. It's 2020. The smoking areas are situated on both sides of the lounge and you're trapped with no escape. It wafts all over the complex too. The patio in our suite was unusable at times due to smoke rising up from the spa and invading our personal space. The spa bath is just basically a huge adult swimming pool. Albeit nice, I prefer large jacuzzi style hot tubs as the feature. There were indeed a couple small ones off to the side, however the temperature needs to be turned up for my liking.

The spa area was amazing. We really enjoyed our time spent there.

We just found the hotel area to be really dated. The breakfast order wasn’t taken twice and when they did deliver the breakfast there was never any salt. They were always empty.
